No Rush, No Worry, No Regrets – R U Ready?
The C-Card is a way for young people to access condoms in a convenient and confidential way from any place which displays the C Card logo.
Who can have a C Card?
The C Card is available to young people aged 19 and under.
How does the C Card work?
To get a C Card you will need to join the scheme. Once you have joined you will be given a card with boxes on the back and the person who issues your card will tell you how many boxes you can have on your card. The C Card will not have your name or any other personal details on it.
Once you have got your card you can take it to any place displaying the C Card logo to get condoms without questions being asked. When you hand over your card you will be given a bag of condoms and one of the boxes on your card will be filled in. Once all of the boxes on your card has been filled in you will need to re join the scheme to get a new card.
How do I get a C Card?
You can register for a C Card at any of the places on this page that have an R next to them. Just drop in but remember to check the opening times, as some places are only open for a few hours a week. The person giving you your card will find a quiet place so they can ask you a few questions about yourself, talk to you about how to use condoms and answer any questions that you may have.
Who will the information I give be passed on to?
Any information you give to the person issuing your card will be used by them to offer you the best advice they can. None of the information that you give will be passed on to anyone e.g. parents/partners/teachers/ or GP without your knowledge.
What if I want condoms but I haven’t got my card?
You will only be able to get condoms if you have your C Card on you
What if I lose my C Card?
If you lose your C Card you will have to rejoin the scheme to get a new one.
