Did you know that 1 in 10 sexually active young people under the age of 25 might have Chlamydia, often with no symptoms? If left untreated Chlamydia can have serious long-term complications, such as reduced fertility in both males and females.

The Cambridgeshire Chlamydia Screening Programme currently offers free, easy, do-it-yourself testing for young people! Boys just pee in a pot and girls just take a swab themselves. The results can be texted to your mobile and if needed, an appointment can be made to get some antibiotics.

There are loads of places across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough where you can take the test, and if you can’t get to any of the places listed then you can request a postal test, so you can complete it in the comfort of your own home and post it off to get analysed.
