If you lose your temper or become violent and aggressive easily , you need to practise controlling these feelings. It's not necessarily wrong to get angry but it is wrong to take out your anger on others.
Learn to recognise the signs that you are about to 'explode' - what are you going to do next time you feel you are losing your temper?
Here are some useful suggestions:
- Get away from the situation or person that is making you angry
- Take several deep breaths and count to 10
- Exercise helps let off steam
- Practise simple relaxation exercises. Tense every muscle in your body and then
- Slowly relax each individual muscle, starting with your toes.
