Job Description:
Working for a company which designs, installs and maintains a wide range of building services including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and control systems. Over a two to three year period, experience will be gained in Contracts, Estimating & Design, Surveying, Purchasing and Health & Safety, together with site based experience.
Training:
Building Services specific higher education (depending on previous education) to include HNC, HND and Degree courses. The training is mostly conducted on a day-release basis. In house, and soft skills training is also provided.
Qualifications:
You should have a strong academic record, including qualifications in Mathematics, and/or Mathematical-related subjects. The programme is very flexible and accommodates: School-leaver, Sixth Form-leaver, Graduate and Career change entry levels, and hence previous experience expected would be relative to the level of entry. The company is recruiting for graduate caliber individuals, so good academic results are a must.
Prospects:
Upon completion of the Building Services Training Programme there are numerous career path opportunities in each of the technical areas i.e. becoming a Project Engineer, Estimator, Design Engineer or Quantity Surveyor.
