Student finance

Going on to higher education is a big investment in your future. Not only will you spend 3 or more years studying, you will also have to consider the cost, both your tuition fees and your living costs.

For students starting higher education in 2012, the  arrangements for student finance will change. Universities will be able to charge higher tuition fees, up to £9000 per year but there will also be support in the form of grants, loans and scholarships to help eligible students with their living costs.

For full details on the changes visit the Department for Business Innovation and Skills website or the 'Your Future' website on Direct Gov
