Worried about going to a clinic?
Here's what one 16 year old from March has to say about her visit...
"When I first thought about going to the clinic I was really scared, I didn't know what to expect but I thought it would be difficult and that the people at the clinic would try to talk me out of having sex with my boyfriend.
On the day I decided to go I felt really nervous and couldn't eat all day. When the time finally came I must have looked a real nervous wreck! Anyway, I plucked up the courage and walked through the door... I was really surprised how nice the lady was to me. She made me feel a lot more at ease by talking to me. She didn't try to judge me or say I was too young, she just gave me the facts and let me choose.
It really wasn't bad at all and I felt fine by the time I left. I won't worry about going again and I would tell anyone my age that it is better to go and sort out contraception than get caught out because you didn't want to talk about it."
