If you've never been to an agenda day you don't know what you've been missing! An agenda day is the perfect way for young people to get together and have a say about the things that matter.
Agenda days are young people led and the only role that adults have is to serve the refreshments during the breaks. We have held successful agenda days on issues such as Safe, Smart Sex and Drugs and Alcohol. In March we held an agenda day in Cambridge on Safe Play.
At the end of the agenda day you will be asked if you want to join a research group. This can be great fun and helps you learn more about the views of other young people across the country. For instance Charlie, Molly and Emma are involved in a research group in March looking at Safe, Smart Sex. They have carried out some mystery shopping in health clinics and G.P. surgeries in the March and Wisbech area and are planning to visit Holland to see what they can learn from young people there. They will also be making a short documentary film to present their findings.
If you would like to find out more about getting involved why not contact us at clare.bruges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or call 01223 728578.
