Episode One

It's Friday night and it is youth club night in Realsville. Jason arrives and signs in. the youth worker asks him where Scott and the others are as they not seen them at club for a few weeks. Jason says that they always down the rec drinking. The youth worker is concerned about this and decides to bring it up at the team meeting at the end of the session. Meanwhile Rozy comes in all excited and approaches Ducky, Bernie and Tammy. Rozy -Oh my god, my teacher is sooo fit. Tammy looks distracted and Bernie asks her what is wrong .... Bernie - What's wrong? Tammy- Oh, I'm arguing with my mum a lot. Outside some of the boys are playing basketball. Kirt is a keen player and on the school team. He has a trial coming up for the county. Bex and Teri decide to go down the rec and catch up with the others. Scott offers them a drink. Bez does not like drinking but she has one anyway. They tell Scott that the youth club now knows why they are not attending. Scott is concerned that they might tell his parents, as they think he is at youth club. Bex- (thought) This tastes horrible, but I need a drink. Back in club Bernie offers Layla and her best friend J if they want a lift home. J is quite hesitant and says that she will have a lift to the willows estate. J and Layla exchange glances. At home time in the car Bernie and Layla are discussing their parents. Bernie is not getting on well with her Mum. Layla sympathises but says she would really like some female company, as she lives at home with her Dad. Later that night Layla starts searching on the internet. But what is she looking for? Log on next week; What will happen about Scott's drinking? What was Layla doing on the computer? Why was J so concerned about a lift home? How will Kurt get on at basketball trials?
