Crime by Rob Sayer

Crime is bad because it's naughty. It happens everywhere.

I am in a supermarket, looking through the shelf when I see Lucy trying to steal a packet of baby wipes. She stuffs them into her rucksack.

As she turns towards me, a flash of doubt in her eyes. I can remember thinking "why steal them they are only 99p" She is young, full of life. She's quick on her feet when a five pence rolls by.

It is a dangerous chase, she crashes into people. The animal gets her prey with it shining in her hand.

I turn my back on her in disgrace, I run, run away, but wait I haven't paid for my grapes yet! I fumble in my pocket for that important 32p, but wait they cost 35p! I thought this was it. The end it went black!
