John Lewis Cambridgeshire Music Awards

Music Awards

Budding young musicians across the county are being urged to apply for the John Lewis Cambridgeshire Music Awards.

With just a few weeks to go before the closing date of 28 February 2010, organisers are keen to see applications from schools, music groups and individuals looking for financial assistance to help them fulfil a music-related project.

The awards, launched in 2008, have been established to help musicians under 21 years old in the county with a music-related activity that would normally fall outside the school curriculum.

Awards will be made up to the value of £2,000, although most awards will be in the region of £250 - £500.

We’re looking for applications from schools, groups and individuals who believe an Award would benefit both them, and their community, in some way.

More information and application forms are available from the Cambridgeshire Music website.
