Kick Ash

Kick Ash

Kick Ash, a campaign to reduce smoking in the under 16’s across Cambridgeshire, is being launched today at Bottisham Village College (BVC).

The campaign encourages young people to explore the truth about smoking and tackle tobacco use.

Over 30 students at BVC have been recruited and have organised themselves into work groups, including communications, tobacco enforcement and smoking cessation advisors.

The programme will visit 10 secondary schools around Cambridgeshire over a three year period. The programme will also work partner primary schools.

The students are supported by NHS Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire Trading Standards and Cambridgeshire’s Personal, Social and Health Education Service.
