Inclusive skiing and tobogganing
Throughout October and November large groups of young people took part in Aiming High funded trips to Bassingbourne Snowsport Centre.
Almost 50 young people, half of whom have a disability or learning difficulty, were able to share weekend afternoons during which they learnt to ski and toboggan on our local county dry ski slope. The groups worked fantastically well together and many of them made incredible individual achievements in learning brand new skills, never tried before!
All young people went home having learnt new skills, met new people of all abilities, and in possession of an amazing goody bag containing lots of information about local positive activities, opportunities, and sources of advice and guidance.
