Insurance Accounts Assistant

Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm



Job Description:

This insurance company requires a trainee for their Accounts department. Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and internal audit based functions, including bank reconciliations, settlements of insurance company accounts and credit control.


Full training will be provided. Further education will also be provided for the right candidate who wishes to embark upon the Chartered Institute of Insurance Examinations.


The successful candidate should have 3 to 5 GCSE's grade C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent), or educated to A Level standard, (or equivalent). You should have good communication and interpretation skills, excellent numeracy and literacy, be self motivated and a team player. A good telephone manner would be a distinct advantage as the job involves liaising with insurers, although full training will be given. Excellent ICT skills are also required and experience in accounting procedures would be advantageous, but not essential.
