Mechanical and Electrical Trainee Engineer






18+: national minimum wage to be reviewed after six months.


36.25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.15pm; one hour for lunch 12.30-1.30pm.


18+ due to the entry level qualifications required for the post.

Job Description:

The company is a leading building services engineering consultancy, with over 200 mechanical and electrical engineers. Specialising in bespoke solutions they offer their services to a wide range of market sectors including healthcare, education, research, local
government, pharmaceutical and commercial clients. The company is looking to recruit
exceptional and highly motivated Trainee Engineers to join their thriving, well established
company. The role will entail working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be advising
clients and project teams on the integration of engineering design solutions and renewable
energy technologies into new and refurbished buildings. You will also be developing 2D \ 3D
CAD layouts and visuals and building 3D environmental models using market leading
software to inform design development.


In house training and for the right candidate day release in the academic year 2018.


The ideal candidate will be educated to 'A' level at grade C or above including Maths and/or
Science subjects in addition to English GCSE at grade C or above or have a National
Certificate in Building Services Engineering. You must have a keen interest in energy
efficiency, building physics, the use of renewable technologies, construction methods and
building design.

high standard, which puts them in good stead for their future in the building services industry.
