Administrative Apprentice (HR)






£5.00 per hour during the first year of apprenticeship, increasing to the National Minimum Wage (if higher) thereafter.


Full-time - 35 hours per week.



Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join their busy HR team. The role combines workplace experience whilst studying for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Your main duties will include assisting with the administration of the recruitment and selection process from placing adverts (including the use of social media) through to pre-employment checks for successful candidates. You will be assisting with routine enquiries from staff relating to HR. You will be supporting the Training Co-ordinator with the organisation of training events. You will be providing administrative support to the HR team and assisting with one-off tasks and projects as required. You will be maintaining their HR database and staff files.


In housing training. You will gain a level 3 Business Administration qualification. Equivalent to one day a week.


You will have Grades A-C/9-4 in English and Maths (or equivalent). You will have the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. You will have good verbal and written communications skills. You will have good attention to detail and high level of accuracy with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. You should be proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience of using databases. You should have an awareness of, and interest in working in HR.
