Apprentice Stockroom Assistant






National Minimum Apprenticeship Wage but if you have your own transport salary can be negotiated.


37.5 hour working week, with the working hours as Monday to Thursday 7.45am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.45am until 12.25pm.



Job Description:

The company design creative and original bridal accessories. Their priority is to bring fresh ideas to bridal wear adding to and updating their extensive collection. Your main responsibility will be to assist with picking the components listed on the product description to ensure that their manufacturing area has a continuous flow of work. Other duties may include: Helping to sort incoming order tickets to prioritise where necessary. Receiving deliveries, booking them in and putting them away. Providing assistance with their component website. This may be picking, packing and posting of orders received. Helping with stock counting. Providing cover for other members of the team. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to learn and assist with some of the purchasing of goods from suppliers.


In house training plus they will give you the opportunity to work with an external training provider to achieve a L2 Intermediate qualification in Supply Chain/Warehousing Operation or Purchasing and Supply. You will be earning the government apprenticeship wage whilst gaining some additional skills all under one roof.


The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will have the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team, as well as on your own when necessary. The company need someone who is flexible and has the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
