Job Description:

Are you looking for a career that combines a challenge and the reward of doing something really worthwhile?, if so working as an Allied Healthcare Professional (AHP) offers a wide range of opportunities. Whether you are interested in science, the arts, sport or psychology, you're sure to find something that suits you. AHP's provide treatment and help rehabilitate adults and children who are ill, have disabilities or special needs, to live life as fully as possible. Open Day: Saturday 28th September 2019, 9am to 2pm, Deakin Centre, Richard Howe Way. No need to book, just drop in! There will be opportunities to join campus tours, hear career talks and presentations, learn about potential vacancies, and talk in person to some of the Trust's AHPs. Their message to anyone thinking of a career at the Trust is come and take a look, they have a lot to offer and it is incredibly rewarding work. In attendance will be: Dietitians, Art Therapists, Music Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), Orthoptists, Radiographers (Radiology & Radiotherapy), Speech and Language Therapists, Prosthesis & Orthotics and Chiropodists & Podiatrists.

Training:

In house training and possibility of qualifications for the right candidate. Equivalent to one day a week training.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and skills will be discussed on the day. Each role will have a job description and personal specification available on the day.

Prospects:

The opportunity to gain experience in an Allied Health Professional role within a hospital.
